Welcome to The Better Vision for Children Foundation (BVC), a non-profit charity that has one very important goal, working to prevent and cure partial or total blindness resulting from amblyopia (Lazy Eye), Autism, Diabetes and Eye Cancer. Our goal is to have every pre-school children's eyes tested and corrective measures performed by ophthalmologists and other professionals with experience in screening and treating amblyopia. Only 1 in 3 children in the U.S. receive eye care services before the age of six. Most vision related diseases are completely curable if detected and treated at an early age.
The latest BVC Foundation Meeting was held on Thursday Nov. 18 at the Courtyard by Marriott in the San Fernando Valley. See "Events" page for details.

"I urge you to help BVC and get  your preschoolers screened as soon as possible - as these problems often result in lifelong blindness or even death, have your child checked immediately. And if you don’t have children you should still help the Better Vision For Children Foundation by giving as much as you can".Stevie Wonder

About Our Founder

The Better Vision For Children Foundation wants to thank TV personality Larry King for his ongoing support over the years. Without him our message would not have reached as many people as it has, Thank You!

Larry King

The BVC Foundation is fortunate in having the support of prominent people in high-profile industries such as entertainment, government, business, and sports. In addition to Stevie Wonder and Larry King, Jimmy Carter, John Walton (Wal-Mart), Donald T. Sterling and companies like IBM and Wal-Mart are among our supporters. It has helped raise awareness and funding for early vision screening for children. However, without all of you individual supporting donors, BVC would not have been able to help vision impaired children for over 25 years! Thank You for your continuous support!
